We all have a story… a journey that makes you realize your strengths, your weaknesses, your endurance, your strong will but most importantly how God’s power, grace and love is over those who put their trust in Him.
Many times as a Christian woman of Faith, we try to hide our past because it’s painful, traumatizing and perhaps shameful. I know, I’ve been there! Nonetheless, it is in those intricate heartbreaking chapters of our life, where God shows up, where we experience Jesus!
I remember last summer where God continued to tell me in various forms to share my testimony, His story of Love through my life. I remember feeling a bit frightened about it. He spoke to me through a song on the radio: My Story – by Big Daddy Weave. Then He prompted me once again during a Sunday service in July, when I heard the following words from my Pastor:
“When you do not share the gospel, you are silencing the mouth of God.”
I cannot even begin to tell you how much that word convicted me! And, as afraid as I was and still am, I continue to say, “Ok, you got it God…I do not know how but I know you do.”
So here I am, as I begin to share my story with you through this space, I trust that God will do what He says He will do. We are all living testimonies of His Love, Redemption, Mercy and Grace…How wonderful would it be if we all shared His Love Story.
“Your story is the key that can unlock someone else’s prison. Share your testimony.” ~ Pastor John Hagee
